Reading Perl Code: Code Smells

Wade started the talk by establishing a little context on reading code. After defining Code Smells, he moved on to a relatively fast overview of a number of general code smells. The bulk of the talk was on Perl-specific code smells with example code. The audience participated quite a bit with discussion and questions throughout.

After the main presentation, there were a number of questions to clarify a few points. The discussion continued among the audience members after the presentation was over, suggesting that the topic had struck a cord.
