Perl Help Session

Since we didn't really have a topic lined up for this month, we opened the meeting to any questions, problems, or topics people wanted to discuss.

We spent a fair amount of time discussing encryption and different techniques that have been used to protect licensed software. As part of the process, Wade described a secure system used many years ago to allow a third party to authenticate a connection between a client and a server.

We also discussed issues that people had with the Net::SSH::Perl module.

There was also some discussion about estimating software projects. Wade recommmended the book Software Estimation by Steve McConnell.
